Viewer Discretion is ADVISED!

Warning: If you have a weak stomach, maybe you should not look at this picture (turn back now, turn back now . . . . ):

Such a tragic waste. *CRIES* I am still in shock. M came upstairs to my office this morning and discovered the situation as you see. E had been "playing" and did about $25 worth of damage. I am saddened. I decided her punishment would be that we would not go to the movie that we were planning to go to today. Such a terrible waste.

If you ever wondered if embossing powder feels like sand and gets everywhere -- I assure you it does. Clean up sucked. I will take this moment to tell you about the one thing that was my lifesaver. I had one of those lint sticky paper thingamagigs and it worked perfectly to pick up lots of the powder after I had swept away the large part, so my desk is mostly better. So keep that in mind if this ever happens to you. I am just thankful that E did not open the staz on pad that was close by or any of my other tools that were piled on the desk after a mucho creative weekend.

The casualties were 1/4 iridescent ice embossing powder, full heat and stick powder, 3/4 sterling silver, and a brand spanking new - just got it in my last SU order CRYSTAL clear. *cries* Oh and also a pale pink embossing powder not from SU! I guess that is what I get for just hoarding it eh? Needless to say, I will have to add those to my next SU order -- which probably will not be until the new catalog!

While I know losing this product is a shame, and a huge pain in the patooty to clean up, it's such a short while that we have the "wee" ones at home. From someone whose kids are all grown, you WILL look back on this and smile. Maybe not for a little bit, but it will happen. Hugs!

Good to know she's still alive after that!!

She is too cute to harm. DH did come and say I am sorry for any damage that she caused and that made me feel a bit better. It is only $25 -- she is worth so much more than that. Still, it made me sad *grins*

You threw it away! On NO! I've spilled like that myself and just mixed them together (in a new container of course). You'll get really interesting swirls of color.

{{{hugs}}} Manda! Sorry this happened to you! My DD did that with black and white flock on our couch once - ouch!!! :(

I too send hugs your way, Amanda! I know that I get upset when there's residue from one colour EP on my tray and it mixes with another. On the other hand, your DD made beautiful sand art!

I have 2 extra Crystal Clear EPs here, but you'd have already received yours by the time it would get there from here (Canada).

Sorry 'bout the mess. I'm sure tomorrow will be a a better day! If all else fails, shake up the containers and see what you come up with. Irridescent Ice and Black would be awesome together!

I would have just mixed it all together in a jar for my own custom color.

awww Amanda...I can feel your pain! However, (I know it doesn't help much now) you will look back on this event some day and chuckle. It just could have been so much worse, and it is only "stuff". Your daughter is unharmed...the good part. Keep smiling!!

I feel your pain! MY DD who is probably about the same age as yours, got in to the all my glitter a couple months ago, we still see glitter floating through the basement sometimes! Just remember someday soon she will be old enough to use the powder and make cards with you!

Oh what a difficult mommy moment! By now you know that you could have saved the mixed powder.

Years ago my DD opened a Memories (permanent) ink reinker and shook it in a room with an off-white rug so I can relate to your situation.

I loved finding that my 3yo had been dumping my black detail EP in his spare time. Thank God for my swiffer sweep+vac!
