Founders Day - LIFEHOUSE Show

One cool thing about my little town, is that every year they have a Founders Day celebration at the local park (which also happens to only be about a block away from my house). Last year they had "The Gin Blossoms" do a show and this year, they rocked with their band choice yet again and got "Lifehouse." I was seriously SO excited because this is a free concert in the park and you can totally get close to the stage and take great pictures and hear and feel being at a concert. I love it! It takes me back to the old kid free days! Anyway, as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words, so here are some memories we made at Founders Day!

E's hair (I learned how to do this on this coolest website)
I tied purple ribbons at the bottom and got complimented on how cool it was

My little family posing with the flag pole we contributed to (my son showing his best side -- lol) and M and J eating ribs at the Chili and/or Ribs Cook Off 2008

J snuggling into daddy at the show (it was freezing for AZ -- like 57 degrees- EEK)

M, me and E at the show (love self portraits)

Fireworks at the end of the show to celebrate Maricopa's 5th Annual Founders Day Celebration!

How cool is that! I love E's hair. I hope I get a girl eventually so I can do neat things with her hair! Remind me of that website a few years down the road! ;) What an awesome day!
