So Many Ways to Be Inspired . . .

I recently added a weekly challenges guide to the sidebar of my blog. There are so many blogs out there with so many challenges on them -- it is easy to be inspired by color, sketches and much more. I hope you will take some time to tackle some of the challenges that are out there (everyday there is one on SCS waiting for you).

Is it Autumn where you are yet? Unfortunately for me, it is still 87 degrees outside here in the Phoenix area -- which is INSANE! I cannot wait for the cool crisp air and the colors of Autumn. I have been playing with Autumn colors recently trying to get in the mood. Maybe I can inspire mother nature to drop Autumn on us here in the hot desert.

This card was created using the Mojo Monday sketch (#53) on Poetic Artistry. Julee always has the most amazing sketch ideas, and I am such a sucker for a sketch challenge.

I wanted to use all the cute little images in the Jump For Joy set by Hanna Stamps -- they all just SCREAM Autumn and made a lovely background paper. Also, apples were coated with Ranger glossy accents and left to dry to create that perfect apple look. They look yummy in real life!!!

Stamps: Jump For Joy (Hanna Stamps), Give Thanks (American Art Stamp) Paper: Summer Sun (SU!), Pumpkin Pie (SU!), Real Red (SU), Really Rust (SU!), Neenah Solar White Ink: Onyx Black Versafine Accessories: Copic markers, clear embossing powder, paper crimper, cuttlebug machine, Thanks folder, swirls folder, sewing machine, white thread, nestabilities (circles), 1 3/8th inch square punch (SU!), Ranger Glossy accents

I just love this turkey image. I had these googly eyes hanging around and after I saw what Bev did with this guy, I knew I needed to CASE that idea. The layout for this card came from the Papertake Weekly site, where they have all sorts of challenges - on Monday night. They also have a design team that does awesome inspiring things.

Mr. Turkey wishes you a Happy Thanksgiving -- his last wish before he becomes dinner. Mmmmmm, turkey!!! *giggling wildly*

Stamps: Thanksgiving (Hanna Stamps), Everyday Sentiments (Hanna Stamps), Linen (SU!) Paper: Whisper White (SU!), Really Rust (SU!) Neenah Solar White Ink: Onyx Black Versafine, More Mustard (SU!) Accessories: Copic Markers, Mustard Gingham ribbon (May Arts), Googly Eyes, Sewing machine, white thread, nestabilities (scalloped and plain circles).

The next two cards were made using a sketch from Jen DelMuro. She has a weekly sketch for you to try (SFYTT) and then you just upload to SCS. This week, Emily at Stamping Bella has offered a $15 gift certificate to her store if you play along with this sketch -- but it has to be done by today, so if you want to still enter for a chance to win . . . be quick!!!!

Stamps: Witchybella (Stamping Bella), Spooky Sweets Vol.1 (Papertrey Ink) Paper: Halloween Mat Pad (Jen Yanok - K & Company), Basic Black (SU!), Neenah Solar White, Prism Frosted Kiwi Ink: Onyx Black Versafine Accessories: Sewing machine, black thread, nestabilities (circles), copic markers, clear embossing powder

Stamps: Wreathabella (Stamping Bella), Fancy Flexible Phrases (SU!) Paper: Glorious Green (SU!), Real Red (SU!), Assorted scraps from my scrap drawer (unlabeled) Ink: Onyx Black versafine Accessories: Copic markers, corner punch, nestabilities (circles), sewing machine, white thread, clear embossing powder, white buttons, red gingham ribbon (SU!)

Don't forget to enter for BLOG CANDY BELOW if you have not already!!! Winner will be chosen on Monday!!!

These have got to be the BEST Bella's I have seen done...so, so, pretty! I don't think the die for these baskets would fit in the cuttlebug, too, thick, I have a cuttlebug, too, and I am also keeping it!! I am in the process of making more baskets right now...its addicting! I am thinking of offering a payment plan on the Big Shot...trying to work it out!
